Level 2 Award for Security Officers in the Private Security Industry (RQF)

The Highfield Level 2 Award for Security Officers in the Private Security Industry (RQF) course is designed by the Security Industry Authority (SIA) to give people a full understanding of the role within the security industry.

The safety of persons, objects and property is the main objective of a security officer.  However, it is now also recognised that the security officer has a customer service role to play and has the opportunity and responsibility to create a good first impression of the company that they represent. Manned guarding covers a wide and varied range of duties requiring well trained and qualified Security Industry Authority (SIA) licensed security officers to take on the responsibilities associated with their role.
