    Candidates must achieve two mandatory units:

    • Unit 401: Understanding the Principles and Practices of Internally Assuring the Quality of Assessment
    • Unit 402: Internally Assure the Quality of Assessment.

    In order to complete this qualification candidates must: 

    • Be a minimum of 18 years old 
    • Take an initial assessment of their literacy, mathematics and ICT skills

    This qualification has a minimum of 90 guided learning hours and is delivered as a 1 day classroom based induction day followed by:

    • 4 observations in the candidates workplace
    • Self study assignments
    • On-going online support.

    Assessment is through:

    • Observation by your assessor
    • Written and verbal statements
    • Written and verbal answers to questions
    • Professional discussion
    • Witness testimonies
    • Portfolio of evidence that demonstrates the candidate has achieved the required assessment criteria.

This might be people such as experienced assessors or centre managers, HR or quality assurance personnel.

    This qualification provides candidates with the understanding of the principles of internal quality assurance and have the knowledge to support assessors in their workplace. 

    Candidates must achieve one mandatory unit:

    • Unit 401: Understanding the principles and practices of internally assuring the quality of assessment.

  • Intro Text: The QNUK Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training (RQF) is a first stage teaching qualification that gives individuals a fundemental understanding of the roles and responsibilities of a teacher / trainer in relation to legislation, equality, diversity, inclusivity and meeting the needs of learners.
  • Course contents:

    The QNUK Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training (RQF) has been designed to prepare trainee teachers to teach in a wide range of contexts. It requires observation and assessment of practice and the range of optional units available provide opportunities to contextualise the qualification for different learning environments. 

    Mandatory units:

    • Understanding roles, responsibilities and relationships in education and training
    • Planning to meet the needs of learners in education and training
    • Delivering education and training
    • Assessing learners in education and training; and 
    • Using resources for education and training.

    Optional units best suited to the candidate’s qualifications, experience and career goals will be discussed and selected during the initial classroom input.

    • 5 day classroom block to cover the course mandatory units
    • Optional units via distance learning with online support
    • 3 x 1 hour observations in the candidates own work environment
    • Assignments to be completed and included in a portfolio of evidence which must cover all assessment criteria of the units selected
    • Candidates will be expected to apply and show evidence of both theoretical and practical knowledge in their portfolio.

QNUK Level 4 Award in Physical Penetration Testing Operations (RQF)

  • Intro Text: The aim of the QNUK Level 4 Award in Physical Penetration Testing Operations (RQF) is to equip individuals with the knowledge, understanding and skills required to conduct an authorised, effective, physical penetration test on client sites. The aim of these tests is to assess the effectiveness of the organisation’s physical security, processes, and controls. The subsequent report will enable owners to rectify any breaches within their security protocols. This qualification provides learners with the knowledge, understanding and skills to work within an operational team or independently.

    The 5-day course has been developed by trainers and operators with backgrounds in specialist law enforcement, military, and government service. They also have extensive experience in physical penetration testing in the commercial world. 

    The areas covered include:

    • Legal and ethical aspects of physical penetration testing
    • Open-source intelligence gathering (OSINT)
    • Social engineering techniques
    • Operational planning
    • Physical security systems
    • Conducting reconnaissance
    • Methods of gaining access
    • Useful equipment
    • Working in collaboration with IT penetration testers
    • Preparing and presenting the final report.

    Due to the sensitive nature of some of the content within this qualification, individuals are required to hold a minimum of one of the following:

    • DBS check appropriately successful for the sector in which the learner is intending to operate
    • DBS check in progress and likely to return commensurate to employer’s requirements (a letter of recommendation is required from a senior officer within the individual’s organisation/institution/authority or service to support approval)
    • SC1
    • Development vetted (DV)
    • BS 7858 screened.

    • 5-day classroom and external venue based course, including a requirement for self-study
